Pediatric Residency QI
The UNC Pediatric Residency Quality Improvement (QI) Program was designed to help prepare pediatricians to address quality of care issues during their training and career. The program is aligned with the Pediatric Residency Review Committee requirement that all residents learn QI methods and participate in a QI project during their residency. In 2009-10, 17 senior residents were trained in quality improvement methods and showed marked increases in their confidence in leading QI projects and applying these methods in their work.
