Areas of Interest

I am an associate professor in the Dept. of Cell Biology and Physiology. I currently teach human anatomy and neuroanatomy for the schools of medicine, dentistry, and the physical therapy and physician assistant programs. I serve as the co-course director for the MTEC 101, 102, and 103 courses throughout the Foundation Phase of the Translational Education at Carolina (TEC) curriculum. In addition, I serve as a College Advisor in the Larry Keith Medical College Advisory program. I am interested in all facets of medical education and curriculum development. My research focuses on how technology integrates and improves medical education and how interactive educational sessions enhance learning outcomes.
