Welcome to the Center for Environmental Medicine, Asthma and Lung Biology. Our research focuses on the effect of air pollutants and other environmental agents on human health with an emphasis on respiratory and cardiovascular disease. We invite you to learn more about our research program, how our research is used to promote public health and our research training opportunities.
We conduct research studies involving human volunteers that are aimed at understanding the health effects of air pollution on the lung and heart. To learn more about our current studies contact one of our research coordinators or select the following link.
We also conduct studies in collaboration with the U.S. EPA. To learn more about joint U.S. EPA / CEMALB studies select the following link.
