The ImmunoTechnologies (IT) Core provides quantitative and qualitative methods for studying proteins, peptides, and other small molecules that play a role in the normal and pathological activities of the digestive organs. The IT Core provides consultation, ordering, and immunoassay performance services and supports a wide variety of analytes, in both traditional ELISA/EIA and multiplex assay formats, including (but not limited to) interleukins, interferons, tumor necrosis factors, prostaglandins, and cyclic nucleotides.

All immunoassay samples should be submitted in ready-to-assay form. Any pre-extraction or sample preparation procedures are the sole responsibility of the user, unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance with the IT Core manager. Samples should be submitted in a 96-well plate following a standard assay design layout and accompanied by a template that outlines the sample order. For those who don't have them, prep plates are available upon request from the IT Core manager. Please provide sufficient volume for all samples to be assayed in duplicate, plus an additional 25uL pipetting volume. All samples should be dropped off in Room 030 of the Glaxo Building, and prospective users are advised to call ahead (966-0175) to ensure that someone will be available to receive their samples and the accompanying template.

Assay materials: varies based on assays requested and current pricing
Assay service: $0.75 per well
Additional processing/handling (plating, etc): $0.75 per sample
Absorbance/Fluorescence/Luminescence reading: $10.00 per plate
Multiplex suspension array reading: $30.00 per plate
On-Campus pickup/delivery (per trip): $10.00 per trip
Off-campus pickup/delivery (per trip): $20.00 per trip
