May 12 - CGIBD DDW Practice / Poster Session May 12, 2016 from 04:00 PM to 05:30 PM Marsico Hall 2004,
If you have a research presentation that you will be giving this year at DDW, we would strongly encourage you to present your talk on May 12th. This will achieve two goals. First, you will have a chance to present your talk and get constructive feedback from a friendly audience. Second, the May 12th conference will give those of us who might not hear your talk at DDW a chance to learn what you have been working on. Past Participants have found this session extremely valuable in helping them polish their presentations. This year in addition to offering the opportunity to practice your DDW talk, we have decided to also offer a practice poster session. This will be held between 4 and 5 p.m. on Thursday May 12 in the hallway outside Marsico rom 2004. Based on the number of talks and posters to be presented, we will announce the precise schedule closer to the time. If you would like to present your poster, please let me know by Monday, May 9th. Note that inclusion in this practice session does not prevent you from submitting the same poster for the CGIBD Poster Competition in June (for which you should have received a separate notice).
