Jeffrey W. Runge, MD, Assistant Secretary for Health Affairs and Chief Medical Officer,
U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and former Administrator, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,
will deliver a lecture at 4 pm on May 21 at the Carolina Club.
A reception will follow.
Dr. Runge is the recipient of the 12th Annual John Atkinson Ferrell Prize.
The event is hosted by the UNC Preventive Medicine Residency.
