Standards of care in urologic surgery constantly change with the awareness of new procedures, new pharmaceutical treatments, and new approaches to therapies. We will specifically address patient care and medical knowledge through new operative techniques including cryoablation, cyberknife usage, and advances in robotic surgery in urologic surgery. We will address practicebased learning and improvement through presentations on new AUA guidelines for bladder cancer and the Survivorship initiative here at UNC. We will be addressing needs in systems based practice by presenting new coding guidelines.
