Case Consultation

Medical consultation may be requested by social services for concerns of child maltreatment. This may include but is not limited to concerns for physical and sexual abuse as well as Pediatric Condition Falsification/Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome.  The purpose of these consultations will be to summarize medical information and provide interpretation regarding concerns for maltreatment. Consultations may also be requested to obtain clarification of the medical assessment, including radiologic interpretations, and recommendations for active cases.
