CMEP Televideo Conference

PURPOSE

The CMEP Televideo Conference is a monthly meeting of health care professionals across North Carolina who evaluate and treat children and adolescents with suspected abuse and/or neglect. Televideo capabilities provide clinicians with the opportunity to participate in case reviews that include photos, slides and radiographs with state-wide experts and peers in their local facilities.

This Televideo Conference is designated for 1.0 hour of credit per session in Category I of the AMA Physicians recognition award. One hour of credit is also given to physicians who need 10 hours every 2 years to maintain their specialized roster status with the CMEP.

Presentations include:

• Child abuse and neglect.
• Difficult cases presented by participants for discussion with the group.
• New information, techniques and clinical experiences with group discussions.
