The Chapel Hill Analytical and Nanofabrication Laboratory (CHANL) operates as a shared instrumentation laboratory open to UNC researchers from all departments as well as to researchers from other universities, government labs, and industry.

The competition is coordinated by CHANL (Chapel Hill Analytical and Nanofabrication Laboratory) through IAM (Institute of Advanced Materials) at UNC Chapel Hill. Selected submissions will be displayed and judged at the UNC Science Expo on Saturday, April 14^th 2012 and the winners will be announced at the CHANL Open House Reception on Monday, April 16^th 2012.
