Seminar: New Tools for the Emerging Field of Single-Cell Analysis

May 19, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

As the use of NGS advances in clinical and applied spaces, the parallel
processing of single cells from precious patient samples at high
throughputs will be critical. With increasing demand for single-cell NGS
analyses, several platforms have emerged based on microfluidics, such as droplet-based and multisample nanodispensing technologies. The ICELL8™ Single-Cell System enables researchers to look at hundreds of cells in a heterogeneous cell population without common microfluidic cell-size constraints, and the imaging limitations of the droplet-based systems, thereby reducing sample-handling artifacts.

Speaker: John F. Sojda III, PhD, with Takara Bio USA, Inc.
