NCBC Institutional Development Grants (IDG): Maximum Award $200,000
The purpose of the Institutional Development Grant program is to provide research equipment for core facilities that serve multiple investigators. This is a matching grant; the required institutional match amount is a percentage of the amount requested and varies per request. NCBC Multidisciplinary Research Grant Maximum Award $250,000
The Multidisciplinary Research Grant is designed to foster interdisciplinary collaborations on complex problems that require more than one area of expertise to solve; involves North Carolina researchers from three distinct disciplines working together for advancement of the state-of-the-art in biotechnology; and cultivates early stage collaborations on new ideas.
NCBC Biotechnology Event Sponsorship Grant Maximum Award $3,000
The Event Sponsorship Grant promotes and supports events advancing the understanding or application of biotechnology to benefit North Carolina. Events must promote information sharing and personal interaction. There are rolling deadlines for applications.
