  • Centers for Disease Control-Women's Health - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is dedicated to protecting health and promoting quality of life through the prevention and control of disease, injury, and disability. This site contains a wide array of information regarding diseases, conditions, healthy living, statistics, emergency preparedness and much more.
  • Drug Watch - A resource on a variety of medications including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs and certain medications no longer in use. Their mission is to improve and save lives by educating people about drugs, medical devices, pharmaceutical manufacturers and the Food and Drug Administration.
  • Food & Drug Administration-For Women - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's website for Women's Health containing news, consumer updates, lifestyle tools and health topics.
  • HealthyWomen - HealthyWomen is a nonprofit resource for women's health and wellness needs. The website features health topics, articles and blogs for women of all stages of life and health. The site also features an active community for users to questions and comments.
  • MedlinePlus-National Library of Medicine - MedlinePlus is the National Institutes of Health's website for patients and their families and friends. Produced by the National Library of Medicine, it contains information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues.
  • North Carolina Women's Health Report Card - The Center for Women's Health Research's own biennial report card on the health of women in North Carolina contains trends, statistics and grades.
  • WebMD-Women's Health - The popular health resource's website dedicated to female health contains articles and information on a variety of health topics, expert blogs, communities and discussion groups.
