Mission Statement:
The Dermatology Interest Group (DIG) is a student group at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Our mission is to encourage medical student interest in the specialty of dermatology and to increase exposure of medical students to this exciting field. To reach these goals, we will hold educational meetings with guest speakers, faculty, and dermatology residents aimed at increasing awareness of the multifaceted aspects of dermatology, including its subspecialties, clinical challenges, and new developments in treatment.
