Dr. Chris Sayed, Assistant Professor and Director of Medical Student Education, will discuss an overview of the field of Dermatology and the residency process. Lunch will be provided for the first 35 students.

A panel of UNC physicians from various subspecialties within the field of Dermatology (Mohs Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatopathology, ect) will discuss their specialty and answer any questions you may have. Lunch will be provided for the first 35 students.

Tues, Nov 18th 12:00-1:00 PM Bondurant 2035 Lunch Talk: Day in the Life of a Dermatology Resident

Current Dermatology Residents will discuss their journey to Dermatology, a day in the life of a Dermatology resident, and the residency application process. Lunch will be provided for the first 35 students. 

Thurs, Dec 11th 4:00-5:30 PM Southern Village Dermatology Workshop: Laser Procedures 

Dr. Chris Sayed, Assistant Professor and Director of Medical Student Education will lead a laser workshop for 10-12 students (two groups of 5-6 students).

Come out and help educated young students in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro community about sun safety & skin cancer awareness with prom season and summer coming up!

Each time slot is open to medical and undergraduate students from UNC to participate in giving these presentations.

Reasons why you should participate:

KIDS! Fun atmosphere, community service, making a difference, representing UNC proudly, and spreading Dermatology knowledge to all!

Great opportunity for med students and pre-med students with interest in Family Med, Internal Med, Derm, and Pediatrics for community outreach/teaching experience!

Bondurant G100 Lunch Talk: After Match 

Lunch Talk - Recently Matched UNC MS4s in Dermatology

Come out for some lunch and stories/advice about how current MS4 successfully matched into Dermatology.  With UNC matching 6 students into Dermatology this year, it shows how great of a school and how talented our student body truly is.  This event is perfectly timed in the MS2's Dermatology block and between lecture and the GI exam review for MS1s. Looking forward to seeing you there!
