Special Interests (Medical)
Dr McLean is currently Research Vice Chair in the Department of Anesthesiology and an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The overarching goal of Dr. McLean's research program is to gain a better understanding the recovery process after trauma exposure, and to use this improved understanding to develop effective secondary preventive interventions to improve post-traumatic outcomes.
