Rotation Objectives

UNC department of emergency medicine

Medical Students are expected to work 13 clinical shifts in the adult ER at both UNC and WakeMed hospitals. Each shift is 8 hours long. Medical Students are required to attend weekly residency conferences on Wednesday’s and participate in weekly simulation labs. As well, there is a procedure/discussion card that must be signed off by a resident/attending, and an end of rotation exam.
