New Patient Mentoring Program for Medical Students

Please be aware that medical students will be accompanying some patients during their visit to UNC Health Care. Should you have a patient who is mentoring a student, all you have to do is conduct your visit as you normally would. The student will accomplish their educational objectives simply from observing you. Click here to review additional details.

Last Chance to enter the iPad2 Giveaway for Completing the Meaningful Use Authorization Process.  As of Aug. 10, 70% of UNC’s EPs have successfully completed this process. Click here to review additional details.

Regulatory Updates to A2K

On Sunday, Aug. 14, we are required to do some Regulatory updates to A2K that will take approximately two hours to complete. This outage will start at 1500 (3 p.m.) and should be back online at 1700 (5 p.m.). The required downtime will affect Physician Order Entry, A2K and Interfaces to all external system including  e-Chart, WebCIS and Labs.

 

WebCIS will NOT be down during this time.

eChart will NOT be down during this time.

GE will NOT be down during this time.
