Community Service
The Office of Community Service opened in 2003 to support and celebrate medical students who want to perform community service. Our mission is to encourage students, faculty, and the community to come together to address the needs of our underserved and vulnerable citizens through direct service and educational programs. We also want to increase the visibility of community service within the UNC School of Medicine by collaborating with organizations within Health Affairs and on the main campus that support community service and service learning opportunities. | |
