Statewide Family Medicine

The statewide University of North Carolina Department of Family Medicine comprises the academic campus at Chapel Hill and clinical campuses located in Asheville, Concord, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Wilmington. Each clinical campus director holds the title of Associate Chair in the department. All campuses are active participants in residency training, medical student teaching and play a key role in UNC's required third-year clerkship in family medicine. In addition, rural residency track sites offer PGY2 and PGY3 training.
