From time to time, the Maternal and Child Health Program will sponsor a local event to help to bring the birth community in the Triangle together. Visit this page to find out about our latest endeavors!
In the past we have co-sponsored showings of the film The Business of Being Born with Triangle Birth Network and earlier this year we co-sponsored--also with Triangle Birth Network--a tea and discussion with Judy Norsigian, Executive Director of Our Bodies, Ourselves and co-founder of the Boston Women's Health and Birth Center.
Last year, we sponsored a showing of the 1953 George Stoney documentary All My Babies at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University.
