Family-Centered Pediatric Care

| ||
Having a child is one of the most important events in a family's life. At UNC Family Medicine Center, we recognize that your child is precious and we strive to exceed your expectations through care that centers on listening to your family's needs and supporting you as a parent.
UNC Family Medicine Center believes that continuous care throughout your child's life is important. We are organized into care teams so that you and your child can develop an ongoing relationship with a small group of providers who are dedicated to administering the best care possible. UNC Family Medicine provides a broad range of services to you and your family, including a pediatric advice nurse available 24 hours a day, a lactation consultant on staff, a nurse-midwife/nurse practitioner on staff, a Saturday morning clinic, same-day appointments for urgent needs, on-site lab and x-ray services, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting information, a lending library, and free pediatrics information sessions. We also provide immunization education and an on-site Child Services Coordinator. As a clinic within the UNC Healthcare System, we have access to a full range of pediatric sub-specialists including pediatric cardiologists, pediatric endocrinologists, and pediatric oncologists. Should your child need this type of specialized care, we can help coordinate these services for you. To make an appointment for your child, please contact our office at (919) 966-0210. | ||
