Learning about information technology in community practice often
may need to be a collaborative process, with students
teaching faculty certain technical skills and faculty helping students
learn how to evaluate and use technology resources appropriately.
In this module, the preceptor will investigate the six primary areas
of information technology academic health centers are focusing on.
They will also consider their own skills and the opportunities available
in the practice for student learning in this topic. Preceptors then
may develop teaching strategies and learning activities.
