Core Clinical Conditions with Didactic Curriculum (from UNC 96)

These are the conditions that students will use during the orientation and during the day back assignments (clinical reasoning assignments and chronic illness presentations).

  • Contraceptive Options
  • Physical Activity and Diet

 

Screening for:

  • Sexually Transmitted Infection
  • Osteoporosis
  • Cancer (screening for breast, cervical, colon)
  • Substance Abuse

 

Selection of Immunization for vaccine preventable diseases

Common Procedures

  • Observed exam of the knee
  • Observed exam of the shoulder
  • IM/SQ Injections
  • Joint Aspirations/injection
  • Pap smear
