I have two conceptual research interests: first, I want to understand how individual cells make fate decisions such apoptosis, senescence, or differentiation. Second, I want to understand how emergent properties arise from the collective behavior of individual cells. My favorite approaches are time-lapse fluorescence microscopy and computational modeling.
