Research Interests

Dr. Carroll is a molecular microbiologist and his research investigates the role of the gut microbiota in intestinal disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Dr. Carroll is working with Dr. Ringel on several projects investigating the role of intestinal microbiota in functional bowel disorders.
