Fellowship Program

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program trains internists for either academic or scholarly clinical careers in the fields of Hematology and/or Oncology by providing a broad-spectrum of intensive clinical experience combined with mentor-guided research.

Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
The Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill attracts some of the finest fellows from around the country. Our fellowship program is accredited for 18 slots and we generally have 6 fellows in each of the three years of the program. We receive over 300 applications per year and interview approximately 40 people. Our trainees enter academic careers to a greater degree than the national average. University of North Carolina is a National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Comprehensive Hemophilia Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
