PD2014BGDThe UNC Center for Functional GI and Motility Disorders will be giving away 2 tickets to one person a week until the week before the Patient Day Symposium.  There will be 5 chances to enter and win!  We will be posting on Twitter (@FGIFYI) starting on Monday, May 12 for your chance to enter.  Every Monday starts a new chance to win and winners will be announced on Friday afternoon!  Just re-tweet our contest post anytime during the week and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win the pair of tickets during that week.  You can enter every week, however once you win - you will not be eligible to win again.

 

What's included?

  • Free Admission to Patient Day 2014, which is a 2-Day event at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in the heart of Washington D.C.
    • Day 1 (June 22) - Educational lectures on the treatment options for functional GI disorders of the upper GI tract, lower GI tract, and complementary therapies, such as diet, probiotics, CBT, and hypnosis. Speakers include William Whitehead, Yehuda Ringel, Olafur Palsson, Ryan Madanick, Doug Drossman, Lin Chang, Richard Saad, Kate Scarlata, Jan Tak, Jay Pasricha, Laurie Keefer, and Louise Mott.  Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments included.
    • Day 2 (June 23) - Hands on work shops where you will work in smaller break out sessions with experts to learn how to self-manage your functional GI disorder.  This special session lets you practice in a more intimate environment how to talk to your physician about your GI disorder, how to add complementary therapies to your lifestyle to help with symptoms, or how to use can use diet to help with your symptoms.  Breakfast and refreshments included.
  • Free Admission to an evening reception after the educational lectures where you can meet and speak one-on-one with the experts over light refreshments on June 22.
