Chronic Pain Program Overview
The pain program closely monitors patients taking opioids for non-malignant pain. This includes obtaining a medication contract, regular urine toxicity screens, monitoring for mood disorders and scheduled medication refills.

IMC QI Team 1 has been focused on improving communications both with patients and among clinic staff. They have tested and used teach back methods to facilitate improvements. Team 1 meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 8 - 8:45 am in the Trailer 47 conference area.
