The UNC Division of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare, advancing our understanding of health and healthcare, and training future clinicians and researchers. Your donation to the division will support our ongoing research to develop better care delivery and disease prevention strategies that benefit all of our vulnerable patients and to train the next generation of Internal Medicine providers. Giving may also benefit you, should you choose to give through a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or other legal arrangement. The goals of our Division’s fundraising efforts are to raise funds in the following critical areas:

  • Education to promote primary care careers.
  • Research and education on health equity and social determinants of health.
  • Research on health literacy and improved health communication.
  • Research on preventive care (especially in the areas of heart disease and cancer screening).
