Smoking Cessation Program Overview

This clinic, run by a clinical pharmacist practitioner, focuses on providing assistance to patients who want to quit smoking.

Smoking cessation visits are available to patients who are ready to quit smoking cigarettes or smokeless tobacco within 30 days. This clinic is run by a clinical pharmacist practitioner who will review current tobacco use, past attempts to quit, current pharmacologic options to aid cessation and develop a plan for quitting with the patient. A plan for follow-up is also discussed.


Smoking Cessation appointments can be made in 3 ways:

  • circle your request for an appointment at the bottom of the encounter form if patient is being seen in clinic
  • request an appointment through the Clinic Support Website (coming soon)
  • patients can call 919-843-0391 or 1-866-633-8002 (toll free) to request an appointment
