Nada Dugas, Director of the Pampers/UNICEF “One Pack=One Vaccine” Campaign
Greg Allgood, Director of Procter & Gamble’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water

Since 2009, Nada Dugas, PharmD, has been in charge of the Pampers/UNICEF collaboration to eliminate neonatal tetanus. To date, One Pack=One Vaccine has provided over 200 million tetanus vaccines, protecting over 45 million mothers and their babies in 27 countries.

Greg Allgood, PhD, is an alumnus of the Gillings School of Global Public Health and heads the Children’s Safe Drinking Water program, which distributes PUR water filtration packets around the world. UNC has been collaborating with CSDW in Malawi, Tanzania and other places.

The discussion will be led by Peggy Bentley, PhD, professor of nutrition in the public health school and associate director of the Institute for Global Health & Infectious Diseases. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how they can use their degree in public health to harness the power of public-private partnerships for health.
