Insight Out Magazine

Insight Out Magazine is a medical journal run by students from the School of Medicine, School of Global Public Health, School of Journalism & Mass Communication, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, School of Dentistry, School of Social Work, and College of Arts & Sciences.

Insight Out's purpose is three-fold: to serve as a source of information on current challenges in health and social service delivery; to feature current approaches allying with and advocating for underserved communities; and to provide a medium for discourse and creative expression in medicine, science, and community development to gain valuable insight into the human condition.

This publication is funded in part by Student Fees, which were appropriated and disbursed by the Student Government at UNC-Chapel Hill. Special thanks to our generous contributors: the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, The Whitehead Society, The Graduate Student Federation, and the UNC Medical Alumni Loyalty Fund.
