Graduate Programs
Entry to Profession Doctor of Physical Therapy (eDPT) The entry to profession DPT Program is designed for the person with an undergraduate degree in a field other than physical therapy. The program entails three years of full time study, and prepares the student for licensure as a physical therapist. This is an entry-level program.
Transitional Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy (tDPT) The tDPT program is designed for licensed physical therapists who are seeking additional knowledge and skills and the doctoral degree.. The program combines distance learning and web-based instruction with mentored clinical educational experiences. This is not an entry-level program.
Human Movement Science (HMSC
Program, PhD) This curriculum in Human Movement Science is designed
to provide students an opportunity to pursue doctoral studies in areas that will
increase our knowledge of human movement performance. The program focuses on contributing
to the scientific basis of human movement, developing theory and methods for maintaining
health, preventing disability, and improving movement ability. Focusing on normal
movement and movement disability requires a unique perspective in research and
education that draws upon several interrelated sciences.
