Working in clinics under close supervision with faculty physicians as they see their own patients, students will take primary responsibility for several patients and, with the preceptor, initiate the diagnostic and therapeutic plans
Two one-week inpatient experiences teach the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors that form the core of inpatient internal medicine, developing a rational, evidence-based approach to the evaluation and care of hospitalized adult medical patients
