Overview and Application Process
The purpose of the Leadership Scholarly Concentration Program (SCP) is to prepare interested students for leadership in medicine, whether academic, administrative, health care system, business, or otherwise. It advances a vision of future physicians being actively engaged in shaping the institutions and policies that affect medical practice. The Leadership SCP would target students who might be interested in enhancing their education through knowledge and skills from MHA or MBA type programs but who do not which to fully invest in an additional degree.
Next round of application for this scholarly concentration will occur in late fall of 2017.
