1. Expose medical students to a career in Vascular Surgery

Learning Activities:

Weekly scheduled conferences and rounds

Experience and participation in the operating room, angiogram suite, and clinics

Experience with the interpretation of diagnostic studies such as angiography and duplex ultrasound

Expected hours: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (approx.)

No on-call requirements

STUDENTS: These rotations are all available through the Surgery Clerkship

Evaluation: All 2-week career exploration electives are pass fail. Attendance and participation are required to pass. A presentation may be assigned.
