  • Education Committee
    The group of faculty, students, and staff that provides central oversight for the four years of medical school curriculum.  Meets monthly.

  • TEC Curriculum Development Committee: Decommissioned
    This committee reached its goals and was decommissioned in August 2014 at the launch of the TEC curriculum.  Met monthly.

  • TEC Foundation Phase Committee
    Governance structure for the first phase of the TEC Curriculum.  Meets monthly.
    Chairs: Kurt Gilliland, PhD and Ryan Madanick, MD

    • TEC Application Phase Committee 
      Governance structure that for the second phase (i.e. March 2016 – February 2017) of the TEC Curriculum.  Meets monthly.
      Chairs: Beat D. Steiner, MD, MPH and Alice Chuang, MD

      • TEC Individualization Phase Committee
        Governance structure that is developing the curriculum for the third phase of the TEC Curriculum.  Meets monthly.
        Chairs: Peader Noone, MD and Ana Felix, MD.

      Other School of Medicine Committees

      • Whitehead Curriculum Committee
        WCC is the setting for students, faculty and administration to discuss ideas relevant to our constantly evolving curriculum.
      • Medical Education Technology Committee
        METC is charged to investigate new educational technologies, to advise SOM faculty on uses of educational technology, and to advocate for the use of new technologies to improve our delivery of curricula.
