Josh Dilley (MS2)
How do you manage to stay balanced and healthy in spite of the busy med school schedule?
I work till 3 every day and then the rest of the time I take to do things I enjoy. Also, on off weekends I travel and take advantage of the time. On-weekends are when most of the studying goes down!
Why do you want to become an advocate and what three qualities will you bring to the job?
I want to be able to help out the incoming MS1s and teach them some lessons I’ve learned. 1) Unmatched Enthusiasm 2) Social/Personable 3) Looks good in a speedo
What’s the most important piece of advice you would give to an MS1 at the beginning of the year?
Take advantage of the pass/fail system first year. Try out new study techniques and figure out what works for you.
What is your favorite artery, organ, or nerve; and why?
Kidney because it handles business (like me)!
Tell us your favorite joke (PG-13 max, please).
That’s what she said…
If you had a theme song that played every time you entered a room, what would it be?
Ke$ha – Die Young
