Hello, incoming UNC School of Medicine Class of 2017!
We are so excited that you’ll soon be joining us on campus here at the greatest public medical school in the country. We, along with all of our classmates, hope you feel welcome and comfortable here!
As you’ll soon see, medical school can be a daunting endeavor – and so is orientation! Getting up to speed is quite a process – we hope this website helps. But at any point, if it would be easier to get in touch with us, please feel free to shoot either of us an email.
One last note: if you can, please consider going on the lake retreat the weekend before orientation starts (look for details via email or Facebook this summer, or through the link on this orientation site). We have such great memories from our trip last year. It’s a great way to get to know the amazing group of people you’ll be walking with on your medical school journey.
Looking forward to meeting you in person,
P.S. If you aren’t able to make it, don’t fret. We have plenty of fun activities planned during orientation and the first few weeks of school.
Pre-Orientation (April - July) - Materials for new students that should be explored before coming to campus.
(August 5 - 8) - Materials related to the Orientation from August 5th to August 8th, 2013.
