The group of faculty, students, and staff that provides central oversight for the four years of medical school curriculum. Meets bi-monthly.

• First Year Curriculum Committee

CC1 is a governance structure that supports the first year curriculum.

• Second Year Curriculum Committee

CC2 is a governance structure that supports the second year curriculum.

Chairpersons: Kathleen Rao, Ph.D. and Nicholas Shaheen, MD

• Third and Fourth Year Curriculum Committee

CC3/4 is a governance structure that supports the third and forth year curriculums.

Chairpersons: Alice Chuang, M.D. and Deb Bynum, M.D.

• Whitehead Curriculum Committee

WCC is the setting for students, faculty and administration to discuss ideas relevant to our constantly evolving curriculum.

• Medical Education Technology Committee

METC is charged to investigate new educational technologies, to advise SOM faculty on uses of educational technology,

and to advocate for the use of new technologies to improve our delivery of curricula.
