*Participants in the BBSP program
Most of our students will enter the PhD through the Biomedical and Biological Science Program. The BBSP is an unified mechanism for the entry and first year of training for most biomedical PhD programs on the UNC Campus. It allows our students a bit of extra time in selecting a final department or mentor as well as providing for an excellent first year PhD experience.
In the past, all of our students complete their PhD in 3 – 5 years.
