University Mall will be transformed into an Underwater FantaSea, complete with live music, an auction, and food and drink to benefit UNC Lineberger's cancer treatment, research and prevention programs.

Carolinas Wireless Assocation will host its Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 10. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Ovarian Cancer research at UNC.

A dog walk/animal parade. Proceeds will benefit cancer research at UNC Lineberger.

Bids for Kids Art Auction (Studio 91 Fine Art Gallery, from May 17, 2008 05:00 PM to May 17, 2008 07:00 PM)
Wine, dine, bid, and give, all in honor of inspiring some very special kids. Kids Cards and the Pediatric Interest group of UNC School of Medicine will hold their annual Bids for Kids benefit art auction on Saturday, May 17, 2008, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Studio 91 Fine Art Gallery. All of the artwork auctioned is created by pediatric patients of North Carolina Children’s Hospital, with proceeds funding life-enrichment programs for the Children’s Hospital's patients.

Kohl's Mini-Medical School for Parents and Caregivers is a series of classes offered free of charge at UNC Wellness Center at Meadowmont. Each session is taught by faculty members of the UNC School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics and addresses one in a variety of pertinent and timely pediatric health issues. Kohl's Mini-Medical School is made possible by the sale of specialized Kohl's Care for Kids merchandise, with 100% of the net profits supporting health and educational opportunities for children. Through its partnerships with hospitals across the country-including N.C. Children's Hospital-Kohl's has donated more than $72 million since 2000 to help support their hospitals' missions of keeping kids healthy and safe. We are tremendously grateful to Kohl's for its support.

2008 marks the 14th season for The Eric Montross Father’s Day Basketball Camp, giving dads and their children a weekend experience in Chapel Hill – on the court – raising money for the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.
20th Annual Carolina Kids Classic Golf Tournament (UNC Finley Golf Course, from June 19, 2008 09:30 AM to June 19, 2008 05:00 PM)
Since its inception in 1988, the Carolina Kids Classic has raised more than $2.2 million for children across North Carolina. Woody Durham and Mike Haley founded the tournament and continue to serve as co-chairs for this annual event benefiting The North Carolina Children’s Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill and the Childhood Trust. This year’s tournament will be held at UNC’s Finley Golf Course on Thursday, June 19. Dean Smith, Host Emeritus, and Honorary Hosts Roy Williams and Butch Davis invite you to participate in the 20th anniversary of this local Chapel Hill tradition.

Country music legend Vince Gill will perform a benefit concert for N.C. Children's Hospital's Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology on Wednesday, April 30 at Memorial Hall in Chapel Hill. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 4 with prices ranging from $50 to $100. To purchase tickets, please call the Memorial Hall Box Office at 919.843.3333.

Chapel Hill Wine Company, Vine Street Imports, and Bordeaux Fine & Rare have partnered once again to bring you the third annual Corks for Kids, a two-day wine tasting extravaganza benefiting N.C. Children's Hospital. Last year's Corks for Kids event raised $50,000 for N.C. Children's Hospital, and organizers hope to better that total in 2008.
N.C. Children's Promise Radiothon/Telethon (NC Children's Hospital Lobby, from November 20, 2008 12:00 AM to November 20, 2008 12:00 AM)
Held in conjunction with Curtis Media Group and Time Warner, this signature fall event raises funds to benefit children’s programs and further support the continuation of excellence within the medical and surgical programs housed in the N.C. Children’s Hospital. Fifteen Curtis Media Group radio stations combine with Time Warner Cable’s News 14 Carolina to broadcast live from 5 a.m.– 11:30 p.m. seeking pledges from listeners and viewers throughout the Triangle and beyond. 2007's 6th annual N.C. Children's Promise Radiothon/Telethon raised more that $800,000—our highest tally to date. We hope to raise even more in 2008, so please mark your calendars now for Thursday, November 20, 2008. Cocktails for Cancer: A fundraiser for Women's Cancer (La Residence, Chapel Hill, NC, from October 17, 2008 07:00 PM to October 17, 2008 11:00 PM)
Cocktails for Cancer is an annual fundraising event that was established in 2007 to increase awareness among the public at large about female cancers. The event will feature music, food, auctions, prizes, and cocktails (of course).

7th Annual Honours Golf Tournament & Fundraiser (The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club, from September 27, 2008 12:30 PM to September 27, 2008 05:00 PM)
The tournament will benefit the TelAbility/WATCH Program within the UNC Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Jennifer Pfaltzgraff, mother of two, including Ethan, a child with special needs, will speak as the honoree at a dinner following the event. Jennifer is a statewide advocate for children with special needs.
