Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity pays a guaranteed dollar amount for life in exchange for an irrevocable gift to Carolina. The minimum initial contribution is $5,000. The amount of the income is determined by your age and, perhaps, the age of another beneficiary at the time the contract is signed. Since regulation of gift annuities varies from state to state, the gift annuities described above may not be available in some states. We can, for example, accept gifts for a gift annuity if you live in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia or Florida. There are, of course, other states in which we can offer gift annuities so please contact us if you are interested in a gift and your state is not listed above.
