Charitable Remainder Trust
A charitable remainder trust is similar to other types of trusts except that it has a charitable beneficiary. You transfer property irrevocably to a trust and specify how the income and principal are to be distributed. The trust can become effective during life or at your death. It can be for the life of the beneficiary(ies) or for a term up to 20 years.
