About
My goal is to bring eduaction to the women of NC on the risks of cardiovascular disease through comminity outreach and our Annual Women’s Heart Symposium. We have held 7 annual meetings with lectures on a variety of topics that may impact women and their heart health. We provide clinic counseling on the risks of cardiovascular disease and how to modify lifestyle and risk factors.
I have worked with cardiac rehabilitation since 2000. In 2003, UNC incorporated our program into the UNCH system. I advise patients on the benefits of exercise with respect to fitness and cardiovascular health.
