Symptoms	Approximately 3 bowel movements per day for the last six months Loose, mushy or watery bowel movements for the past six months Urgent need to have a bowel movement that has made you rush to the bathroom. Bloating

Purpose	The purpose of this research study is to determine the efficacy of an investigational medication on constipation predominant IBS.
Requirements	Women must be at least 18 years old Have a history of diarrhea predominant IBS (diagnosed by a physician) for at least six months 7 visits to UNC over approximately 6 months Must be a resident of North Carolina
Compensation	$125 to $250 depending on the study
