Spencer Dorn, MD
Spencer Dorn joined the Center in 2005 as a National Institutes of Health Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Digestive Diseases Epidemiology. He is currently completing a clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and continues to pursue research on the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of functional GI disorders. His research interests also include health services for chronic digestive disorders. A native of New York, Dr. Dorn received his undergraduate degree, with highest distinction, from the University of Michigan; his medical degree, summa cum laude, from SUNY at Brooklyn College of Medicine; and a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Dorn completed his internal medicine training at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School.
