University of North Carolina’s Douglas A. Drossman, MD, Receives Clinical Research Award
Bethesda, Maryland (April 28, 2005) – The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) has named Douglas A. Drossman, MD, the recipient of its 2005 AGA/Miles and Shirley Fiterman Foundation Joseph B. Kirsner Award in Clinical Research in Gastroenterology for his excellence in clinical research in gastroenterology and help support the clinical research efforts of the recipient. The award will be presented to Dr. Drossman later this month in Chicago, Illinois during Digestive Disease Week® (DDW®), the largest international conference devoted to the science and practice of gastroenterology.
