Our medical and dental teaching assistants are a vital aspect in our MED program each summer working with our 80 pre-medical / pre-dental students.
We will hold interest meetings to discuss what the position entails, experiences from former TAs, and answer any questions you all had. TA positions are available to first-year medical and dental students. If you have any questions about the position, please contact the Office of Special Programs.

- Please type up responses to the questions on the online application.
- Please submit your transcript / grade report from the medical / dental school to the Office of Special Programs.
*Dental School applicants should request their official transcript from UNC Main Campus. To request, click here: http://registrar.unc.edu/academic-services/transcripts-certifications/transcript-services/
*Medical School applicants should visit the website below to download the form and turn it into the Office of Special Programs, 505 Berryhill Hall. All forms will be turned in to the Office of Student Affairs/Registrar by the Office of Special Programs staff. Applications will be considered incomplete if the completed transcript request form is not received in 505 Berryhill by Friday, December 5.
Applications will be reviewed during the month of December, and applicants will be notified about scheduling interviews by January 2015. Instructions for scheduling interviews will be included in emails notifying students about the status of their application.
